The best time to have your portraits photographed along Clearwater St Pete Florida beaches is the hour before sunset. The lighting has turned softer and as the sun nears the horizon turns a bit golden to produce the most flattering beach portraits possible. The low sun angle also adds dimensionality to the portraits. As a result, we like to limit our shoots to one a day starting about an hour before sunset and working a bit past sunset. The second option is sunrise as the sun works it’s way up. The lighting on the beach at any other time may be too harsh and could cast harsh shadows, cause excessive squinting, and is not very flattering.
Family Beach Portraits
All of our family sessions include a variety groupings, settings and fun candid’s of your family! We are happy to accommodate requests and we will take extra time with infants and small children. Evenings and early morning sessions are recommended when the natural lighting is perfect. Family beach portraits are a gift you give yourself, your family, and generations to come.
